I had a fun game with this. Be careful when you move though because it acts very awkwardly in responding to illegal moves if your hands slips off the mouse or something.. I had mate in three my first game against the computer on hard but then instead of dropping the knight where he needed to be i dropped it a space down, which should have been illegal, and it wouldn't let me fix it so I had to move another piece instead and I lost time and then the made was prevented.. very disappointing. Anyway, a cool little system regardless.

"Top books ever" lists are always fun, if occasionally a little disappointing, although I wish I could find the link to the site that this list was originally from. I am posting, however, because the list is still posted and I am curious to see other people's reactions.
Personally, I found a few things interesting about this list: I wonder, first, whether the books are listed in any sort of order. I cannot imagine for the life of me putting A Clockwork Orange at the top of any such list; I thought it was a fine book but even Burgess would tell you that it is a little overrated and by no means his best; I don't think it even almost compares to Dostoevsky's Crime and Punishment, which itself raises the question of why a books you should read before you die list does not include any Tolstoy.. granted War and Peace is a bit of a project but I found the book so fascinating that upon finishing it I began a study of the Napoleonic Wars, particularly the Moscow campaign, so I could re read the novel with a better understanding.
I was pleased to see Bukowski on the list as well as Eco even though I still don't think the Name of the Rose was Eco's best, and also I would have liked to see something of Sartre's if not Nietzsche, and why is there no Joyce on this list?

One of the most thought provoking things I have read online in a long time, and it particularly caught me off guard for how unlikely it seems that I should agree (although I certainly do).

Oddly fun, and a nice little procrastination tool to replace Facebook. As advanced as the graphics and everything get in new PC games, there will always be a niche for stuff like this. It would be nice if they would do some work on it adding features and such though.
