The articles, supposedly ranging from beginner to expert, never seem to get past very basic tactics and strategy that even any casual player should know, and often along the way the articles make statements that undermine the complexity or misstate the purpose of an idea. The chess shop is not really a shop at all but a collection of common sense advice about buying a chess set and descriptions of common themes of chess. Some of the advice could potentially be useful to amateurs but I wouldn't take this person too seriously. Oh, the layout is a template too.

Be careful when you move though because it acts very awkwardly in responding to illegal moves if your hands slips off the mouse or something.. I had mate in three my first game against the computer on hard but then instead of dropping the knight where he needed to be i dropped it a space down, which should have been illegal, and it wouldn't let me fix it so I had to move another piece instead and I lost time and then the made was prevented.. very disappointing. Anyway, a cool little system regardless.
